A Vision Taking Flight From Day One
Sophie, our first volunteer from Uruguay, visited us in 2017 and played a pivotal role in inspiring the creation of the Harimasada community. Her commitment, enthusiasm, and selfless contributions had a profound impact on everyone she encountered. During her time with us, Sophie introduced new ideas and approaches, sparking a shared vision for a community focused on empowerment, education, and support. Her experience laid the groundwork for what would grow into a vibrant, collaborative space where people could come together to learn, share, and grow. Sophie’s visit was the beginning of something truly transformative, and her legacy continues to inspire our work today.
