Background

HARIMASADA was founded on July 17, 2017, with a strong commitment to providing better educational opportunities for children, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds in rural areas of Lombok, Indonesia. The organization was created to address the many challenges faced by children, including limited access to quality education, lack of resources, and minimal support for personal and academic development. Recognizing that education is a powerful tool for change, HARIMASADA was built to bridge these gaps and make a lasting impact in the community. HARIMASADA is derived from the acronym HARAPAN ITU MASIH ADA, which means "We Still Have Hope." This reflects the organization's belief that, despite challenges, hope remains and positive change is possible. To strengthen its mission, HARIMASADA was officially legalized on August 9, 2024, solidifying its role as a recognized non-profit organization dedicated to social and educational development.
